7th Annual Arts and Craft Competition
Junior Achievement Nigeria marked its seventh annual Arts and Craft Competition. It was held on the 27th of May 2009, the day marked world wide as Children’s day at Terra Kulture, a Nigerian cultural centre which promotes Nigerian Cultural heritage. This year’s event was sponsored from Grant of The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation (TCCAF) and LISABI Mills partnered in the event by providing products for the guests and students. The students had a lot of fun through various activities which include, dancing competition, facial paintings as well as a tour around the gallery.

J A Nigeria Staff attends J A Africa Workshop in Mali
The JA Nigeria staff (Afolabi Salaam, Rita David, Franca Thomas and Kunbi Wuraola) attended the JA Africa region training and workshop. JA Africa Region organizes a regional meeting annually to bring together all JA Africa Region member countries to share ideas, discuss way forward, plan and project for future.

Free mini-MBA course for Youth Corp Members
Junior Achievement of Nigeria (JA Nigeria), a non- profit educational organization in partnership with Lagos Business School and Accenture has concluded plans to host this year's Venture in Management Program (ViMP). A yearly program, ViMP is designed as a one-week intensive mini-MBA session to introduce selected members of the National Youth Service Corps to the different facets of managing a business and making crucial business decisions

Global Entrepreneurship Week
Countries all around the world are joining together to carry the banner of Global Entrepreneurship Week, an initiative aimed at young people everywhere. During the week of November 17 - 23, 2008, partner organizations will conduct a range of activities - from simple speeches to comprehensive competitions - designed to inspire, connect, inform, mentor and engage the next generation of entrepreneurs
