You are welcome to the first Junior Achievement Nigeria Entrepreneurship Awards. This event is borne out of the need to showcase the "Entrepreneurs of our Time" as selected by the 150,000 Junior Achievement students in over 14 locations across the country in celebration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2008. The GEW is a worldwide initiative providing a great opportunity for highlighting what entrepreneurs are doing all over the world during the week of 17 - 23 of November 2008. Whilst this week may be global in scope, it is still local at heart, from Lagos to Bamako, Johannesburg to Nairobi, London to Puerto Rico, Osaka to Melbourne, we are celebrating our successful entrepreneurs and encouraging the upcoming ones.
